Kevart Center

This project involves the restoration, refurbishment, and vertical extension of a mixed-use building in the center of Larnaca. The intervention aimed to respect the building’s existing presence while introducing a contemporary architectural layer through the addition of one extra floor.

The ground floor is dedicated for commercial use, accommodating retail units with prominent street frontage, ensuring the building remains integrated with the commercial character of the city center.

The two upper floors, provide nine residential units on each floor. These consist of one-bedroom apartments and compact studios, carefully designed to optimize spatial efficiency, daylight, and ventilation. Interior layouts prioritize flexibility and comfort, addressing the needs of residents and short-term visitors alike.

The project aims to contribute to the revitalization of the city center, offering both commercial vibrancy and modern living spaces.
